We are so excited to announce our newest pond project is in the works! Once completed, the approximate one acre-20 foot pond will be dedicated to Hamburg native, Navy Petty Officer Jared Metro, who passed away 11 September 2020. Please stay tuned.
Our Programs
Agricultural Therapy
WVWR is a resiliency agricultural program established by veterans and for veterans of all military branches. We can no longer turn a blind eye to the alarming rates of veteran suicide, depression, divorce, homelessness, and substance abuse. By providing resources through farming, raising animals, fishing, trails, gardening, horseback riding, beekeeping, and fostering master resiliency techniques we seek to provide veterans and their families with the tools necessary to live their best life!

NEW WVWR SANCTUARY BARN!
We have added the new Sanctuary Barn in an effort to use animal therapy in our fight again mental health issues such as combat related stress, PTSD and depression. Whirlwind Veterans and Warrior Retreat is proud to bring together our passion for animals with our love and support of our dear veterans.
