Veterans Ride for Suicide Awareness Motorcycle Dice Run 2025 happened this past Saturday at Whirlwind Veterans and Warrior Retreat.
90 bikes, 121 people, 150 pounds of meat! Whirlwind Veterans and Warrior Retreat, Inc had the privilege of having the following organizations join us for this awesome event:
Pointman Ministries, Jarhead Honey, Healing for Heroes, Suicide Prevention Alliance of Chautauqua County, Warrior Relief Fund, American Veterans AMVETS, Joseph P. Dwyer Veterans Peer Support Project, Veterans Suicide Prevention Team 22.
Gold Star Mother Holy Baker and Husband Dan – Parents of Fallen Veteran Bryan Baker
Whirlwind Veterans and Warrior Retreat is currently in the process of seeking grants and donations for our newest Sanctuary Barn! The animals have outgrown their current living space and in need of a bigger and more efficient building. The new barn will also contain a classroom for agricultural education subjects and other events for our veterans and military members!
Point Man Ministries raffled off this beautiful quilt, where the funds went to Whirlwind Veterans and Warrior Retreat! Thank you so much for your generous donation and having us at your 40th anniversary conference Saturday, 17 August. Jerrod and I had a blast and appreciate your support!
Because of the food Wegman’s donates to the Retreat, our animals get fresh veggies and fruits on a regular basis the store is not able to sell to the public. This donation has contributed to a much more affordable feed bill. We depend very much on the support of the community and donations of any size enable us to continue growing the Retreat for our veterans and military. Whirlwind Veterans and Warrior Retreat thanks you from the bottom of our hearts!
Jerrod and I had a great time representing Whirlwind Veterans and Warrior Retreat and showcasing how we support our military, veterans and their families! It was even more awesome sharing the moment with some great veterans, friends and military members!
